Removing the Lense on a Vforce Shield
This tutorial will teach you how to disassemble a Vforce Shield mask. The removal of the lense is very simple and, if it is your first time, should take no longer than 3 or 4 minutes. You should start off with your mask looking like the pic above. In my pic, I took off the neck guard for looks and comfort. The first thing you need to do is take the straps out from the slots they are in, having them exposed on the outside of the mask. On the bottom left and right of the mask, there will be two buttons attaching the two halves of the mask. Simply pull the two sides apart. Your mask should now look like this...
Above those buttons, there should be two more attaching the top half. Simple pull the two halves apart, just like you did with the bottom two. Your mask should look like the pic below...
Now that the two halves are apart, its time to remove the strap from the lense. There will be a plastic clip holding it onto the lense. Simply pull the clip out from the back and move it out of the way, like so...
Do this for both sides. You should now have a front piece with a lense. On the lense, there are two clips at the left and right side that you can push in. Push them in and remove the lense. Rinse with water and dry. Repeat the steps in reverse order to reassemble. If you could take it apart, you can put it back together. Hope this helps! |
